And of course, no mandala would be complete without amethyst, a stone of balance, stability, strength, and peace. With its ability to harmonize our intellectual, emotional, and physical bodies, amethyst brings a sense of wholeness and completeness to the piece. The use of mirror underneath the gemstones in the mandala is a favorite technique of mine that adds an extra layer of depth and dimension to the piece. By allowing light to pass through and reflect back through the materials, the mirror creates a mesmerizing effect that draws the viewer in and enhances the beauty and complexity of the gems. This technique also amplifies the energy of the stones, creating a powerful and dynamic piece that radiates positive energy and inspires creativity and imagination.
