This photo is by my beloved and talented friend, Elena Giorgi.

The piece has a super neat vibe coming off it.  The energy and vitality that peridot brings to such a tender flower makes me happy.  I was reading about the different symbolism of red poppies and read that in Eastern cultures the red poppy symbolizes love and success.  I also read that poppies are the perfect flower to gift people who have birthdays in August.  I was pretty excited to read this - I'm an August birthday girl, I love poppies, and adore my august birthstone!

13" Outer Diameter 7" Inner Mirror In the heart of a tranquil garden, a circle of pink tulips bloomed around an inner mirror rimmed with shimmering rose quartz. The sensual burgundy glass surrounded with vivid pink grout, a nod to the foot chakra, invites one through a portal to a magical field of rose quartz beyond. As the tulips swayed and frolicked around the mirror, their delicate petals brushed against the smooth surface, creating a mesmerizing dance of light and color. The reflection of the surrounding rose quartz garden seemed to stretch infinitely, as if beckoning the viewer to step through the mirror and into a realm of enchantment. The tulips, with their roots firmly grounded in the earth, channeled the healing powers of the rose quartz into their petals, infusing the air with a sense of calm and harmony. Their frolicsome movements around the mirror added a whimsical touch to the scene, as if inviting all who witnessed their dance to join in the joy of the moment. As with all my mirrors, I use gemstones and minerals not only for their beauty, textures, and healing powers, but also to impart a deep sense of connection to the earth and share my profound appreciation for the magic of the natural world.
