This photo is by my beloved and talented friend, Elena Giorgi.

The piece has a super neat vibe coming off it.  The energy and vitality that peridot brings to such a tender flower makes me happy.  I was reading about the different symbolism of red poppies and read that in Eastern cultures the red poppy symbolizes love and success.  I also read that poppies are the perfect flower to gift people who have birthdays in August.  I was pretty excited to read this - I'm an August birthday girl, I love poppies, and adore my august birthstone!

With its ability to harmonize our intellectual, emotional, and physical bodies, amethyst brings a sense of wholeness and completeness to the piece. The use of mirror underneath the gemstones in the mandala is a favorite technique of mine that adds an extra layer of depth and dimension to the piece. By allowing light to pass through and reflect back through the materials, the mirror creates a mesmerizing effect that draws the viewer in and enhances the beauty and complexity of the gems. This technique also amplifies the energy of the stones, creating a powerful and dynamic piece that radiates positive energy and inspires creativity and imagination.
