Dahlia At Dawn (Photos from client's home)
A custom commission for a beautiful Prairie Style Home. The customer requested I recreate a window that matched the windows in her main room and add something to make it look like nature was coming inside. I created a pink, gray, and wine colored dahlia that complimented the color scheme in her home. This striking and large mosaic turned out spectacular! I ordered custom artisan black mat tiles for to create the window from Mercury Mosaics, a woman owned business here in Minnesota.
Lobby install - Mayo Clinic LaCrosse, WI
2 mandalas representing vitality and growth greet patients, guests, and staff in the new Mayo Clinic and Hospital in LaCrosse, WI. Love, Joy, and Perseverance is a lovely warm mandala of oranges and yellows, representing the Fibonacci spiral found in the center of a sunflower. The work is embellished with Citrine, Carnelian, Rose Quartz, Copper, and Crystals. It's sister piece, "Lotus Blossom's Secret" explores the sacred geometry symbol of the Seed of Life. This symbol can be found deep within nature, as seen when looking at a lotus seed pod. This joyfully colored mandala is embellished with copper and crystals.

Size: 21" diameter This was a commission for a beautiful entryway. The customer asked for a piece that could remind her of her home in Guam and to highlight a redish pink and copper vase in her entryway. We decided on blue and green for the ocean and she asked if we could incorporate the bougainvillea flower. I suggested that we have a branch on the lower third and a few petals on the top for balance. As whimsy and serendipity work with me, I suggested 4 upper flowers and that was a perfect nod to her as a momma and her three children. This piece is rimmed with blue crazy lace agate, apatite, and red cherry jade. Dotted on top of some of the ocean pieces is patina copper. The combination came together beautifully!
