Each Frame: : 9" x 16" Mandalas have long been used as a tool for meditation and relaxation. The intricate patterns and geometric shapes of mandalas have a calming effect on the mind and can help to reduce stress and anxiety. The act creating mosaic mandalas is a lovely meditative practice, allowing me to focus my thoughts and quiet my minds. Here I created two stunning half mandalas based on intricate 21 petal geometry. This captivating pattern reminds me of a sunrise with its gorgeous blend of pinks, yellows, and browns. This design is adorned with beautiful pink opals and highlighted with fire torched copper and peridot colored Czech crystals. The use of blush and gold colored mirror creates a mesmerizing sparkle that changes with the light, making it an exquisite addition to any space. The use of mirror underneath the gemstones in the design is a favorite technique of mine that adds an extra layer of depth and dimension to the piece. By allowing light to pass through and reflect back through the materials, the mirror creates a mesmerizing effect that draws the viewer in and enhances the beauty and complexity of the gems. This technique also amplifies the energy of the stones, creating a powerful and dynamic piece that radiates positive energy and inspires creativity and imagination.
Pink Opal: A gemstone that is known for its gentle and soothing energy. It is believed to have a calming effect on the mind and emotions, helping to release stress, anxiety, and worry. It is also a stone of love and compassion, promoting feelings of peace, harmony, and acceptance. It is believed to open the heart chakra, allowing for greater love and empathy towards oneself and others. In addition, Pink Opal is thought to be a powerful healing stone, aiding in the recovery from emotional trauma and promoting emotional balance and well-being.
Copper: One of my favorite metals to use and a conduit for happy energy. Copper is believed to be a tool for balancing the chakras and its energy is said to flow freely through the body, helping to remove blockages and promote healing on all levels.
